Dr. O'Connor has extensive experience in leading successful technology firms and commercializing complex life science products that merge chemistry, analytical instrumentation and disposable devices. Dr. O'Connor invented Nanostream's core microfluidic technology to address previously unmet market needs in drug development and assembled a multi-disciplinary team of scientists, analytical chemists, physicists and engineers to develop this platform from the ground up in less than two years. He co-founded four technology companies including Clinical Micro Sensors (acquired by Motorola in 1999). He completed his PhD in physical chemistry at the California Institute of Technology.
