Event: A simple and flexible system for hit to lead identification

Presenter: Dr. Jun Wu, Product Manager for Biochemical Assays, Nanostream, Inc.

Date and Time: Wednesday, Oct 4, 2006, at 11:00 am EST/8:00 PST (US)

Description: Nanostream, Inc. is proud to present an educational webinar that will highlight a simple and flexible system for hit to lead identification. Determining the validity of hits from primary screens is critical. This webinar will introduce the Nanostream LD system, an automated assay detection platform that directly quantifies substrates and products, using separation-based techniques. It enables the rapid development of a wide variety of enzyme assays and permits real-time optimization of assay conditions. This webinar will focus on detailed scientific presentation about the Nanostream LD system for target characterization, assay development, and secondary screening.

Event: Evaluating Compound Solubility: A Novel High Throughput Approach Employing Low Volume Micro Parallel Liquid Chromatography

Presenter: Dr. Sergio Guazzotti, Product Manager for Chemical Analysis, Nanostream, Inc.

Date and Time: Wednesday, June 28, 2006, 11:00 am EST (US)

Description: Compound aqueous solubility constitutes a critical property that needs to be determined during drug lead optimization. Conventional HPLC systems can be employed for this determination but suffer from their intrinsic low throughput nature when they are used in a serial mode. Micro parallel liquid chromatography systems allow for high-throughput chemical analysis with increased sample capacity and data analysis capabilities while reducing sample consumption, solvent usage, and waste generation.
