Kinase Assays
Kinases are often part of signaling cascades in disease pathways, making them good targets for drugs to either inhibit or activate.
For kinase assays, the Nanostream LD System speeds assay development time and offers flexibility in fluorescent labeling. The Nanostream LD System's broad range of excitation wavelengths (250 - 750 nm) allows you to choose any common label. Fluorescence quenching groups or rotation-preventing groups are not necessary, which will save you considerable assay development time.
The Nanostream LD System was used to quantify phosphorylation of a fluorescently labeled peptide, TMR-Kemptide by protein kinase A.
